I just released Arrow Indicator, a free and open source Qlik Sense extension to drop clean, scalable SVG arrows directly onto a sheet.

It's useful for status indicators, flow diagrams, navigation hints, dashboard storytelling, or any moment you need a decorative arrow that stays sharp at any size.

What it does

  • 11 arrow shapes Straight, pentagon, chevron, notched, striped, two-way, four-way, elbow, curved, step (Z), and U-turn.
  • Multiple orientations per shape
  • Filled or outlined
  • Adjustable geometry Sliders for body thickness, head length, head width, and corner radius.
  • Margins on each side
  • Sharp rendering SVG
  • No data needed (no measure or dimension required)

Installation

Qlik Sense Desktop

  • Download or clone the repository from GitHub
  • Copy the ArrowIndicator/ folder to :

C:\Users<YOUR_USER>\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Extensions\ArrowIndicator

  • Refresh your Qlik Sense application

Qlik Sense Server or Qlik Cloud

  1. Download the .zip from the GitHub release
  2. Open the Qlik Management Console
  3. Navigate to Extensions => Import
  4. Upload the .zip file
